This training blends the art of Yin Yoga with cutting-edge nervous system science and a deep commitment to inclusivity and collective wellbeing, creating a uniquely transformative experience.

Join us if you’re ready to guide others into rest, regulation, and embodied attunement through Yin Yoga.

This approach to Yin Yoga moves beyond posture. It’s a therapeutic practice that restores regulation, deepens embodiment, and nurtures collective wellbeing. In a world, and within systems, that thrive on constant doing and sympathetic drive, this practice becomes an act of reclamation: the right to pause, to breathe, and to return to connection with the body.

This training blends the art of Yin Yoga with nervous system science and trauma-informed principles, guiding students to move from reaction to response and to teach from a place of embodied regulation. Through a polyvagal-informed lens, participants explore how to create environments that enhance autonomy, choice, and relational safety, making the practice accessible to diverse individuals and communities.

When practiced through this lens, Yin Yoga becomes a space for both self-exploration and professional skill development. Students learn to recognise and support their own nervous system states, and to integrate somatic tools into their teaching. From this place of regulation, they can more effectively support others in their journey toward balance and reconnection.

This 100HR Nervous System Yin Yoga Teacher Training is not about fixing or forcing; it’s about befriending the body’s innate rhythms and restoring a sense of coherence as a lived experience. Every body has a nervous system. Every body experiences stress. And every body holds the potential to restore balance and presence.

Together, we explore what it means to teach and facilitate in ways that honour the body’s wisdom, deepen connection, and contribute to a more compassionate and restorative world.

"The ability to regulate our nervous system is a force for good, a catalyst for change. By taking care of self and learning how to regulate and restore, we care for the collective."

- Amanda Hanna, Training Facilitator

This training is grounded in years of lived experience and facilitation at the intersection of somatics, psychology, and collective care, led by Amanda Hanna, who through her work is deeply committed to trauma-informed, nervous system–based approaches. Through her teachings, she moves beyond individual wellness to cultivate a more just and equitable world, equipping people with body-based tools for restoration, regulation, and collective care.

This training seeks to challenge the constraints of the traditional wellness industry, creating an inclusive space where all bodies, experiences, and identities are welcomed, seen, and supported.

"Amandas profession as a certified nutritionist, registered psychology student, holding over 500 hours of trauma informed training for other professionals allows this training to focus on nervous system regulation, neuroscience, the muscular system, and bio-individuality.  Real world, evidence based western science beautifully combined and weaved with ancient eastern spirituality and philosophy."
